At Warkworth Bouncy Castles, we love helping families and communities create fun, stress-free events. But as winter rolls in here in New Zealand—from June 1st to August 31st—the weather starts to bring a few extra challenges for outdoor events.
Why We Don't Offer Outdoor Bookings in Winter
Winter weather means wet grass, muddy lawns, and unpredictable conditions. After each outdoor hire, our bouncy castles often come back coated in mud and soaked through, requiring hours of cleaning and drying. This not only slows down our ability to turn them around quickly but sometimes results in the next customer receiving a castle that's still damp or not looking its best.
That’s not the experience we want for anyone.
To ensure every child gets a clean, safe, and fully dry bouncy castle—and every parent can feel confident in what they’re booking—we’ve made the decision to offer indoor-only bookings during the winter months.

There are lots of great community halls in our region that work perfectly for indoor bouncy castle parties. They’re warm, dry, and give you peace of mind no matter what the weather is doing outside.
